The media reception desk is located near the venue’s media entrance. If you need any help or information, please go to the reception desk without hesitation.

Press Tribune and Mixed Zone

There are 130 seats provided, including 54 tabled-seats and 76 non-tabled seats available in the press tribune. The seats are allocated according to the principle of “first come, first serve”. Mixed Zone extends from the Southeastern exit of FOP to the athlete entrance of the press conference room. Only journalists with HB, RT, E and Ep accreditation cards are allowed to enter the mixed zone to interview the athletes.

Interviews

Journalists may meet wrestlers in the mixed zone as the wrestlers exit the competition area. The capacity of the CAG mixed zone is 50 persons. Any interview in the mixed zone is not allowed to last more than 1 minute.

One press conference will be held at 2pm, August 20, 2007. Other press conferences will be held during the championship according to journalists’ requests. Press conference room (Room No. E010) is located on the ground floor, which has an area of 130m²and a capacity of 100 seats.

Photographer Positions

Designated photo positions are allocated at the Media Tribune, the spectators’ area and in the field of play (FOP). Photographers may take pictures from any circulation area, including spectator tribunes, as long as they are not blocking the view of any spectator.

Photo assistants will be stationed at main photo zones to assist photographers, please obey their instructions.

Other Facilities

The Venue Media Center offers such facilities as Press Workroom, Photo Workroom, Media Lounge, etc. The operation hours are as follows:

Press workroom (Room No. E012) is located on the west side of the CAG media entrance and has a working area of 378 m²to hold 120 journalists. The technical facilities provided include televisions, pay fax machines, pay printers, pay phones and wireless internet accesses.

Photo Workroom (Room No. E005) is located to the east of CAG media entrance, which has a working area of 90m²to hold 30 photographers, facilitating the image-editing and transmitting process. The facilities provided in the workroom include cable televisions, pay phones, lockers, pigeonhole cabinets and billboards. Work station is equipped with power outlets and broadband internet accesses.

Stairs next to the photo workroom lead to the media lounge which provides a place for the media people to take a rest. Free snacks, coffee, tea and fruits are provided for all accredited media people.
