Iranian Reza Asadpour, in his 50kg final at the 2007 Junior World Wrestling Championships, outguned Gadir Suleymannov of Azerbaijan to claim the title this evening in Beijing.

Reza Asadpour set his pace early as he made a 5-0 lead over Gadir Suleymannov after the first period.

In the second period, Asadpour fended off the counterattack from Suleymannov and outscored 5-4 to win the bout.
