Turk Rahman Bilici captures 60kg gold

In the Greco-Roman 60kg final of the 2007 Junior World Wrestling Championships tonight, Rahman Bilici of Turkey defeated his Russian counterpart Lbragim Labazanov to win the title. Bronze medals of the 60kg event were shared by Balitskyy of Ukraine and Ryu Han-soo of Korea.

In the first round of the final, Rahman Bilici directly won 3 points via Labazanov's standing wrestling and the two sides traded points to 4-2 after the first round.

Labazanov managed to score in the second but so did Bilici, who secured his title in two rounds.

The first bronze medal of the 60kg event went to Ukrainian Balitskyy, who came from one round behind to beat Bozo Starcrvic of Croatia.

The other bronze was captured by Ryu Han-soo after a tough match against Japanese wrestler Yuji Okamoto.
