In the men's Greco-Roman 74kg final of the 07 junior wrestling worlds between Elvin Mursaliyev of Azerbaijan and Arsen Julfalakyan of Armenia, the Armenian wrestler clinched an easy win with his superb techniques and strength.

One minute into the first round, Armenian Arsen Julfalakyan scored as many as six point, thus win the round according to the rules.

The Azerbaijani wrestler then took the offensive only to lose the bout due to technical inferiority.

Chin's Xin Xiaowei was pitted against V. Aleksandrs of Latvia in the bronze-medal match. A native of Shandong Province, Xin took up wrestling training six years ago and placed eighth at the last National Games. He lost to an Azerbaijani wrestler in the 1/8 elimination but qualified in the revival for the bronze-medal finals. He lost the first round for errors, and managed to tie the score at 1:1 in the second. However, he was finally outdone by his Latvian opponent to miss the medal.

Another bronze medal went to Dmytro Arabadzhy of Ukraine.
