On the second day of the 2007 Junior World Wrestling Championships, the gold medal of the men's Greco-Roman 55kg, 60kg, 84kg and 120kg categories will be decided.

In the men's Greco-Roman 55kg semifinals, China's Wan Feilong and Bulgaria's Alexandar Kostandinov beat their rivals respectively and will meet each other in the final tonight for the gold medal.

Wan Feilong remained unbeaten in all the previous matches. In the 1/8 eliminations he beat a Kyrgyzstanian wrestler 5-0. In the quarterfinals and semifinals he met wrestlers from Iran and Kazakstan respectively, and though he lost the first round in both matches he managed to come from one round down to make the finals.

The Bulgarian wrestler Alexandar Kostandinov also made great efforts to get to the finals. He first beat a Cuban opponent in the 1/8 eliminations who had outdid the champion of last year's Junior World Championships, and then defeated a Romanian wrestler in the quarterfinals by a whisker. And after a hard-won bout of three rounds against a Uzbekistanian rival in the semifinals, he finally qualified for the finals.
