The final of the women's 55kg freestyle of the "Good Luck Beijing" 2007 Junior World Wrestling Championship was held today as China's Qiu Hongmei beat Ekaterina Krasnova of Russia to win the title.

Qiu dominated the pace of the match wining the first period 7-0 and used the chest hold with rolling bridge to dominate the second.

In the bronze decider, Johanna Mattsson of Sweden challenged Aizhan Ismagulova of Hazakstan.

Johanna Mattsson, elder sister of Sofia Mattsson, winner of the 48kg event, scored first in the third period to win the medal.

Hong Hyang-Rae of the Republic of Korea claimed the other bronze of the event.
